Today our developers and interns provided and Augmented Reality Experience for the Students of Englewood High School located on Chicago’s Side. Ignite Technology and Innovation and Embarc worked together to help create this activity. Englewood High School students were all freshmen in the newly built and open facilities located in the Englewood community.
We are really excited about providing technology options to the students at Englewood” says Tracy Powell President of Ignite Technology and Innovation . The students learned how to develop and build Snap Chat filters. “We believe that you should make STEM fun and relevant, this is how you keep youth interested in STEM” says Tracy Powell.
The students were super engaged and were able to build their own individualized filters and a filter for the school to use as well. We look forward to bringing more STEM initiatives to the students there and in all under-resourced communities of Chicago” says Tracy Powell.
